Installing Android SDK

Hi,

Can anyone help me, i have bought another computer. First one installed everything fine and i thought i would have no issues rebuilding things.

I am at the stage of installing the android SDK, its at the point where it gets available package list via https from google. However it just sits there with connection timed out. I have read googles trouble shooting guide and ticked the force http connection but am still having the problem.

Has anyone had similar problems, getting on my nerves a little as i cant progress.

I believe that you can copy the complete folder from your previous computer to the new computer.

Hi,

thanks for the reply, in the end i just shut down my firewall for two minutes while it connected. Very strange as same firewall on each and worked when i first installed it a few months back. Either way all working now.
