iOS Question ipa file (Developpement versus Production)

I compile with "Build Release" my App, then "Download Last Built App" to obtain an ipa file.
- If I compile the program with Key Folder path for developpement I obtain an .ipa.file 10.694 ko
- If I compile the same program with Key Folder path for production I obtain an .ipa.file 5.415 ko
Is it normal??

Maybe it's bigger because it attached the debugger?

It is not normal. Are you sure that you are compiling in release mode in both cases?

Yes, I tried again and the two files have now the same weight 5415 kb. I wonder how I could get 10.694ko because even in debug mode ipa file weighs 3500ko. It is a mystery.
