B4J Question Is it recommended to work through the Basic4Android book?

Hi,

I purchased Basic4Android maybe a year ago, but haven't really used it much. I use Intellij for desktop & web apps, but haven't really had the inclination to do Android.

But since B4J came out, it's been easier to find the motivation to start building with the Basic4ppc tools.

Two questions: 1) Is it recommended to work through the Basic4Android book (purchased it today), in order to better understand the sister product B4J? and 2) Is there a link that illustrates the differences in syntax or the ide, to help avoid any frustrations in trying to apply Basic4Android lessons to B4J?

I purchased the book of Wyken Seagrave, which is very interesting. I got to the chapter of database and i downloaded from the site resources.basic4android.info "SQLexample". Unfortunately the example does not work, when I start the compilation i get this error : The value cannot be null. Parameter Name: input. Error File: edit.bal You can help me solve the problem ?. Thanks
