Keyboard stops responing in IDE

Hi :sign0144:

I've just registered as I've downloaded the trial version.

I have followed the installation instructions fine, and have successfully completed the Hello World tutorial.

However I have come across a strange thing which I cannot find mentioned on the forum.

After compiling a program I appear to lose all keyboard functionality in the IDE except for the cursor keys. i.e. I can move around the program, and highlight with the mouse etc., but I cannot type, delete, compile etc. anymore until I Exit and restart the IDE.

This happens every time and is driving me insane. I'm guessing it's something I'm doing wrong, but I can't fathom what. Anyone care to explain what stupid mistake I am making

Cheers Graham

When you run with the debugger attached the IDE turns to be read-only.
Once you stop the running application the IDE will be writable.

Well there you go. Thanks for pointing that out, now to see if I can get the B4A bridge working, my connections up and down like a yo-yo!
