Listview lags because of background image

Hi all!
Do you know if there's a solution for this problem? When I set a background image for a listview, it lags when i scrool it...
I tried to put the background inside an imageview under the listview but nothing changed..
Do you have any idea for this? each advise in accepted

Have you tried to set:

ListView.ScrollingBackgroundColor = Colors.Transparent

Already tried it.. but nothing changed. However thank you for your reply.. any other solution?

Probably it's because of the imageview inside the listview because it's a "twolinesandbitmap"

It was lagging because the background image was too big (2000x1800px)
