H HappyDad Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 28, 2020 #1 I am making a pretty long layout (vertically). Seems there is a maximum height of the layout or views I can make? Now the panel height reached 2040, and I can't make it even longer.

KZero Active Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 28, 2020 #2 why you can't make it longer ? do you get any errors !? 2040 is a normal number and I think the maximum height is about 650000000 Upvote 0

H HappyDad Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 28, 2020 #4 Seems this is a limit of the designer. When I set the height with code, I can set larger values. But with the designer, when I put the views manually, I can't make the view longer than 2040. Upvote 0

What exactly do you want to put onto your layout? Click to expand... Yeah, you can set the height in properties window, also in code. But, I was dragging the panel longer and longer, until it reaches 2040, then I can't drag it longer any more. Also, if you put a new view in designer window, where the top value is larger than 2040, or something like 2048, which is indicated by the gray area, then you can't drag the lower handle downwards, but you can drag the upper handle.
