Missing menu button

I'm using the trial version of basic4android and I think I found a bug with the menu system. About half of the time when I run my app the menu button is missing. It doesn't do this all of the time. Sometimes it works 3 or 4 times in a row and sometimes it won't work. The menu works fine when the menu button is displayed.

I'm using:

Activity.AddMenuItem("About", "AboutDialog")
Activity.AddMenuItem ...

in the Activity_Create Sub to add 4 menu items. I'm using this to display a MsgBox when the About menu item is selected:

Sub AboutDialog_Click
Activity.CloseMenu
Msgbox("Version 0.1", "About")
End Sub

This tag in the manifest file shows the menu button on the action bar:

<uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="4" android:targetSdkVersion="11" />

I hope this is just something I'm doing wrong.

Thanks

Removing the targetSdkVersion will fix it.

Yeah it started doing that after I added that to the manifest file but I lose so much when I remove it. The action bar is gone, the drop down menu is gone, the legacy overflow menu button is on the system bar and the dialog themes and styles don't seem to be working.

I'm still using the trial version of basic4android and I can't use that code. It uses the reflection library. I'll probably purchase basic4android next week.

Thanks
