Android Question Monitor wi fi connection

I want to monitor if phone is connected to wi fi and if there is internet connection or not, and run this service in background. how to do that, code example is well appreciated.

Use a timer + OkHttpUtils2 and try to connect to google.com.

my application sends SQL queries to sql 2012 server and display results in B4X table, i want to monitor wi fi and internet connection to notify user and write to error log if server or wi fi signal connections broken
