Android Question Non-UI applications

Newbie Question: I just want to run the examples in the video tutorials. I am not connecting to any device. i just want to get the result logged. Erel makes it look simple. I get "No device found" compilation message. what should i be doing?

Install “B4A bridge” in your phone, and connect from IDE to your phone.
You can do it too with an emulator or with an USB cable

Thanks for the quick response. I did that and it worked. The real problem was that using RandomAccessFile is NOT a non-UI app. SO when I connected, even though nothing showed up on my device, the logs displayed fine.

There is no such thing as non-UI app in Android. B4J is used in the video tutorial.
