Android Question Play file via network

Hi everyone,
i need to play some file (*.mp3/*.mp4) via network, and i found this thread: https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/t...file-from-a-network-server.28506/#post-165736 where @Erel suggest to download the file with SMB and then play with MediaPlayer; but the thread was 7yo so i want to know if now there's some way to stream file via network

It depends on the server. If it supports media streaming (DLNA for example) then you can use ExoPlayer.

I had try with a DLNA but ExoPlayer can't load the media, so i create an apache http server and it works.
Last question: when the event "Ready" will be raise?
Because after the player load the file i notice that it raise "TrackChange" event

Don't forget to enable clearText communication.

The ready event fires when the engine is ready to start playing.

You mean adding in the manifest this line "CreateResourceFromFile(Macro, Core.NetworkClearText)"?

Yes.
