B4J Question Possible Bug in Example B4XPagesSQLiteLight2 ?

Im actually trying to begin with this example, but i guess there is a slight bug in this example.
If you push the "Add" Button, the page opens, but not with a blank page. It opens with the choosen entry.
Its because the edit.mode variable in function showEntry is always empty. In this example its not filled. But i dont know why it isnt filled.

Can anyone explain?
