First demo:
Here's a glimpse of the Designer Mode UI: Quick answers:
- No, no sound yet.
- Keyboard controls.
- The source code is based on my B4J Mario demo project.
- The knight sprite is royalty-free, but the background isn't. This will be changed soon.
- All remaining graphics, blocks, bombs are being created by me.
- Again, I'm writing all the physics and game logic.
- Recorded with FRAPS from Droid4X emulator.
- YES, I'm still working on Project Ryu.
Thanks for the suggestion, Douglas.
This isn't exactly a game maker, it's just a platform game with a level designer.
I'll try to make it as flexible as possible.
If anyone wants to give the game a test drive, send me a private message.
If you make it flexible enough, to the point that even the player's character, some Physics's props, sound, etc, can be tweaked, then you will have a game maker!
Indeed it is the same concept, but your gravity/jump power is a little bit low. If you raised both values the jump would look better.
Which language were you using to code it?
it was written using a windows language called blitz basic, I'm aiming to convert it over to libgdx using B4A in the new year to write some simple platform games aimed at younger children. I could also use the code to write an endless runner.
