Android Question Reading BLOB data from Mysql via PHP

Hi,

Can somebody help me to figure out how to read blob data from MySQL via PHP. I have read through

But still have no idea. I could execute the MySQL query and return text data but I have no idea how to do for BLOB data. It's much appreciated if someone could post an example. Many thanks.
