Red box around emulator?

One of my emulators is not working. When I press F5 in the IDE it compiles ok and trys to load it into the emulator but I see two flashes of a red square on the 4 sides of the emulator and the app never gets to it. I suspect the red squares are telling me something is amiss with the emulator?

Try to delete the AVD and create a new one.
