Android Question Set SMS from Number | Spoof SMS from Number?

The goal is to send myself an SMS with a specific number as the 'from address'...

Alternatively, creating a dummy contact in my contacts and sending from that dummy contact is an option.



Hope someone can help... I will keep digging though the forum....

It is technically not possible to set the "from" number before sending the message. It might be possible to save this value in the saved messages data store.
