Android Question stdActionbar question

Anyone know how to add drowndown menu to a added icon in stdActionbar?

I use tabbars.

i use this code to add icon:

 Dim bd As BitmapDrawable
    Dim ph As Phone
    bd = ph.GetResourceDrawable(17301577)
    Activity.AddMenuItem3("Preferences", "Prefs", bd.Bitmap,True)

The overflow menu is added automatically to the action bar when there are menu items.
