You can't just ask people for it, they quite rightly have hard-earned it and they're not just going to give it away.
You have to do something that makes them want to pay you for what you've done.
If they want to pay you for what you've done and you sell them what you've done then they are happy and you are happy.
If they have money then they will be looking for things to spend it on, otherwise, what's the point in having money?
Android is mobile phones and tablets, each of which can access the internet via web browsers so what can an 'app' bring to the table that a web browser can't?
Perhaps for mobile phones it must be something to do with the fact that it is with them all the time, something mobile phone-ish, and for a tablet maybe something else?
We know that the Android market is massive, perhaps in the billions, but is the fact that we can make Android apps only going to boil down to the idea that someone, somewhere can see it on google play or Amazon?
To make an app get downloaded you have to make a free version first, lots of people will download it because it's free, then you have to make the same app with more features, the 'Pro' version that people have to pay for.
Nag screens and limitations and perhaps ads on the free version might be enough, tried and tested, to get the serious users to delve into their pockets, reach out their wallets, let the moths out and actually use their credit cards.
It is a fine art
