Although being flattered with my own position, such 'quantity' lists are hardly useful. '1 Apple + 100 rotten bananas' will always beat '99 Apples + 1 rotten banana' and '1 diamond' will never make the list. It does not represent the quality some users bring into this forum. Without adding a 'weight' to each contribution (which is very hard), you may as well just do a word count IMHO. Such lists are just 'fun' to look at once in a while (even the ones on the profile view, although they do use some weight system), but that is about it.

Everyone's personal 'Top Contributors' will be different, depending on his/her needs: if someone wrote a driver for a rare barcode printer I desperately needed for a project, he/she gets a thousand points immediately from me, while others don't find it useful at all for them. There are a lot of users 'down' those lists I personally find extremely valuable contributors. They just are probably men/women of few words. ;)

it does not account for "all" you've contributed. It is coming from and excel file which is human effort and pivot table which is error prone :)

Interesting to see that these two below Erel are South Africans - one from the Eastern Cape and one from KZN - the Pretoria Boykies are very quiet and don't feature !!

Conclusion:
South Africans
can talk or type the hind leg off a donkey !! ???

ps. Both exceptional human beings though !!

Another nice statistic could be about the number of downloads of each attachment.
I mean, when we publish a lib or a class we can see how many users downloaded it and somewhat derive a rough idea about the interest about that topic (or, anyway, about our work).
Yes, there's no indication of any real usage of our code; it's just an idea for "The Most Downloaded Stuff". Maybe @Erel could extract this info from the forum DB.

Another possibility could be to run on our dev machine a sw that traverses our dev tree and collects the names of the libs/classes we actually use in our projects. This will give some close info about what really is used rather than what we just downloaded then forgot about.

Ok, coffe then back to work..

Personally, I like the new feature of upvoting and marking answers as solutions. Well, I guess b4x forum will become some stack overflow, and it helps. You appreciate the advise and thank the person in the process. With these marking of answers as correct and solutions it will eliminate the vast amount of duplicated questions and answers and no longer relevant content, which makes it practically impossible to find solutions at times.

Whilst its new, you see the "Most Solutions" sections below, people in this forum need to upvote and mark answers to their questions more, then we see the value that is all bringing.

@ilan : i think that the information about me is not very precise.
No idea about the pivot table, but I checked a handful of the URLs you listed and they're all present in the data (see signature).

@Mashiane : There is no way that i have written 104 libraries for b4x.
My guess is that's because of the ABmaterial and BAnano entries. They were posted in the 'B4J Libraries & Classes' forum (I believe that was just 'B4J Libraries' in the past), which is picked up by my scraper code. Then, when I see 'ABmaterial' (80 such 'Library' entries from all authors, many of which are from you) or 'BAnano' (43 entries) I assign either value to the 'Category' column and leave it at that. I'll make a note to go through those when time permits (which is a euphemism for 'when I feel like it' :)) and refine the classifications.
