Android Question Trial question re malware notice

I'm trying out the Trial version and just created my first app with it while following the Beginner's User Guide. Very comfortable environment for a Xojo user.

I assume the malware notice I get when I run that app in Debug mode has to do with the signing issue mentioned here:

Can you post a screenshot of this notice? Do you see it on the device?

If yes, then it is probably due to the app not being downloaded from Google Play.

Yes. It is issued by 360 Security on my device. So are you saying I can expect this sort of thing even if not in Debug mode, as long as the app wasn't downloaded via Google Play? I was hoping I could just deliver an APK to clients without having to go through Google Play.

Did you try it in release mode?

Didn't know about Release Mode. Just uninstalled the mobile app and ran the IDE and had it install in Release Mode. Installation goes without a Malware messge, but when I first run the app, 360 Security says it's a Trojan and asks if I want to uninstall it. I press Cancel and it works fine. If I then remove it from memory and run it again, I do not get the Malware message again, or ever again.

It is probably because of the debug key used.
You can try the attached apk. It was signed with a non-debug key.
