User's Default (From) Email Address

Can I read the user's default (from) email address into a string?

Phone.GetSettings() does not seem to expose it, where should I be looking?

Erel,

The accounts returned by your method are the addresses by which the device has been registered to the Google store which are not necessarily the one(s) in use on the mail client on the device.

The user will have one or more POP/IMAP accounts that sync via the mail client. I wish to retrieve the email address of the default account.

This is the only way to get the user address. You can of course send the email using an intent that will start the default mail client.
