webview positioning problem

Hello,

I have an activity with a panel stretched to the entire width at the bottom of the screen

pnlButtons.Bottom = 100%y
pnlButtons.Width = 100%x

I added a webview above this panel, with:

wvMessages.Width = 100%x
wvMessages.Bottom = pnlButtons.Top

The vwMessages as Top and Left = 0

If I run this app on my tablet the webview is only show on the bottom half of my screen ?

What am I doing wrong ?

Edit:

If I use this:

wvMessages.SetTopAndBottom(0, pnlButtons.Top)
wvMessages.SetLeftAndRight(0, 100%x)

it seems to work. What is the difference ?

Note that it is usually recommended to upload the layout file together with the question.

Calling: wvMessages.Bottom = pnlButtons.Top doesn't change the view's height value. Similar to other position properties (Left, Top and Right) it only moves the view.
