Just a fun question... What's worst; Not getting your code to work? or Getting it to work but not understanding how it works?

How are you expecting anyone can help here? You did not uploaded a small project showing your "problem". All we can do is guessing. Edit: From my sight i would say not getting something to work. But you also should know why it works.

LucaMs Expert Licensed User Longtime User Jun 22, 2020 #7 It almost seems like asking: "Did the chicken or the egg come first?" But in this case it's a bit different: if you don't know what you're doing it's obvious that you will get not one but several bugs. If you discover the bug, theoretically you should have understood what you are doing.

You understood my post. I was so happy it worked, but I started to get bothered for not understanding why. But hey, I will just enjoy my success for now and keep investigating why

JordiCP Expert Licensed User Longtime User Jun 22, 2020 #10 The key for me is (assuming that the code must be released to the customer) if it works but you can't be sure that it will always work --> only release it depending on the consequences of a possible failure (nothing, a call of someone shouting, losing some money or even a customer...) if it works and it is a well-proven algorithm or it can be tested to work on all situations --> don't worry be happy ?
