Android Question Why do CheckBoxes and Edit Boxes show differently on different tablets?

I've developed my first B4A application using a Samsung Galaxy tablet for testing, everything displayed fine. Now my client is using Lenovo tablets and the edit boxes are not visible on the screen, they have the same background colour as the panel they are on. Likewise the checkboxes.

How do I get around this?

Thanks Luca & Erel.

I did have most things initially set to default but found it hard to read white text on a light grey background so went through and changed things. I also changed the background colours of different panels to help to indicate to the user which part of the system they were in. I guess I'll have to go through all these screens and change them back.

The UI Cloud is helpful, but my screens have lots of different panels that overlap and are hidden depending on actions previously taken so it look slike I need to copy out each panel into its own activity and then use the UI Cloud.

I'll need to dig into Luca's link a bit more to understand things better.
