Android Question why does a code working in emulator doesnt work on my phone?

i have been tryin to work a code of text to speech conversions given in the tutorials. the code works in emulators even after modifications.but not in my phone(Samsung GT-S6802.Android version 2.3.6). please help..

Did you try debug mode with the device connected? if so the log would show on the right side.

actually the problem is not with the display..everything is fine with resolution. but i cant listen to the speech conversion when i install it in my phone

If you connect it and run debug it will produce a log file on the right. This has nothing to do with display. The error(s) will show in red in the log file.

Are you waiting for the Ready event? Is Success True?

Maybe there isn't any text to speech engine installed on your device.
