K khos Member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 28, 2011 #1 Hi everyone, I am new to the product and forum, I would like to ask if anyone may know how to do this: I created a widget and that works fine but I want to be able to set some parameters for the widget through a seperate settings page, e.g. by a long press maybe or by pressing the Android's device menu key... is this possible? Is it an activity to start? Thanks for any help or advise. Kim

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Nov 29, 2011 #2 You can use a button in the widget and call StartActivity from the widget service. Note that the settings must be saved in a file. Otherwise they will get lost when the process is killed. Upvote 0
