Jan 8, 2016 Replies: 8 [UPDATED] As Erel suggested, it is simpler to use this method See this example How to use an Activity as Dialog. Add this line to the file Manifest (using the Manifet Editor): Code: SetActivityAttribute(actDialog, android:theme, "@android:style/Theme.Dialog") replacing actDialog with the name of your Activity. I just wondered Click to expand... You should be able to create your custom dialog, to use everywhere, but you can create an Activity in a very simple way. One of the first things that people ask is how to use an Activity as Dialog.

LucaMs Expert Licensed User Longtime User Jan 9, 2016 #4 Unfortunately, this method, fast and efficient, is not currently usable. If Erel will find a way to get the dimensions of a Dialog Activity and he will also modify the Designer, then it will be very useful (I suppose that I should make a request in the "Bugs & Wishlist" forum )
