Yesterday i got an email from google talking about a new lite sdk with a very small size. https://firebase.google.com/docs/admob/android/lite-sdk . Any idea on how to incorporate this? A new library other than firebase admob would be required or we can change something with the current one?

indeed, but not everyone goes beyond what they are capable of. so they won't go look out to install that software.
so chopping of 1Mb is nice but it might also mean less ad serving unlike the Firebase method that appears to have it all included inside the app.
it is also not clear how long this method will work as we were warned to move to firebase because the other method(s) might become obsolete after some time.
