Application not installed (new laptop)

Hello,

Got a new laptop (all usb ports of the Acer are completely rotten, grrrrrrrrrrrr).
Installed and copied everything and on running my project with B4A-bridge I get the message "Application not installed" and sometimes a parse error message.
Tried with and without debugger.

I have no clue. The package is not signed (yet).
The Acer has a Dutch Windows version and my new laptop has the Spanish x64 version.

I also tried one of the examples and that is running fine. So, fact is that my project is causing it :sign0060:

Hello Erel,

Just read another post about "Parse error" and your answer to delete the B4ADesigner was the solution.

Thank you!

Now have to solve why the "Files" dir is not copied to the device.

Too early :BangHead:

Must be a Java issue.
First installed Java JDK 64bit and then AndroidSDK.
Android did not find the installed Java JDK (Seems to be a 64bit problem. Also the possible solution to use the Back-button didn´t work).
Deinstalled Java and installed the X86 version, installed AndroidSDK and changed the paths in B4A.
Deleted B4A Bridge and B4A Designer, etc., etc.

The first error "Parse error" appears when I open B4A Bridge.

Strange enough I can´t run my app via USB (since using Bridge); error: no device found.

I ran out of inspiration, so thanks in advance for helping me.

Can´t test it on my tablet, since none of my laptops recognizes the tablet

Reinstalled Android SDK last night. No impovement.

What I do know:
- When I do connect in the IDE, the device gives the "Parse error"
Sometimes I can run the code, with or without debugging
- Can it have something to do with Bridge? I´m using the latest version.

To make it a really nice story:
- Almost all of the apps are now stored internal.
- Examples from you and others also get stored internal when I run them, eventhough "Can install to external storage" is checked and my phone settings seem ok.

Have been searching the net for "Parse error" but until now did´t find the solution.

I put this issue on hold: new laptop went back to the store and is on it's way to HP now. Since my other laptops don't function either I will sit back and be very quiet, for at least 1 day :BangHead:

Back to the land of the living way faster than expected :sign0137:
My oldest laptop is alive and kicking.

And, as I more or less expected, B4A is cooperating great.

I will let you know when I have my new laptop back and reinstalled all bits and bytes.
For as fas as my brain functions it can only be a Java, Android SDK or Windows 7 issue?

Ok, for people who are really interested :sign0008::
Started coding again finally and at one moment saw a fast disappearing message on my device that the memory was low (using Bridge, fyi).
In a previous post I mentioned that almost all of my apps suddenly were moved to the internal memory (still no idea what caused this).
Moved most of the apps back to SD (more than enough space left).

Then I also remembered that "Can install to external storage" was unchecked.
Strange thing as well, because it was always checked.
Checked it again and ran the code.
The original error appeared "Application not installed".

Luckely I had another Micro-SDcard, put that in the phone, ran the code and everything went well, pfffffffffffffffff.

So, I wonder why/if the Micro-card did not live healty very long (5 months) and I don't understand why I can move apps from internal to external storage but B4A Bridge or B4A Designer don't like the iny tiny Micro-card.

Suggestions and ideas are always more than welcome.
