Android Question B4A Bridge 2.62: "My IP: Not connected to wireless network"

As stated in the title, my B4A Bridge is not showing my IP address. But B4A IDE does detect my bridge for I can see its IP under menu "Tools->B4A Bridge->Connect". I can even use "Tools->B4A Bridge->File Explorer" to open my mobile phone storage folder. But, when I try to connect to the bridge, the status bar shows that it keeps alternating between "trying to connect", "connected, "disconnected".

Have you got two instances of B4A IDE open and connected at once. That's usually the reason for the "trying to connect", "connected, "disconnected" sequence. I don't know about the missing IP address in the bridge itself.
Mobile
------
Huawei Y5II (Anroid 5)
Redmi 7 (Android 7)
Redmi 10 (Android 11)

Notebook
--------
Acer Aspire 3 Intel Core i5, Windows 10 Home

B4A-Bridge v2.62, B4A IDE v11.20.

I tried 3 hand phones. All not showing my IP address on B4A-Bridge.
I am connecting through mobile hotspot. I use ipconfig to check.
It does shows my mobile gateway IP address. My problem persists. I
use Sysinternals Process Explorer to check, only one instance of
B4A.EXE is running.

How does your pc connect to your phone? mobile hotspot ? they don't seem to be in same LAN, try connecting them in same Lan.

I connect through mobile hotspot. I tried three phones one by one. I didn't connect them all at once. I disconnect all other network connection including internet (mobile data), except for WIFI hotspot of my mobile phone. Then, I connect my Acer notebook to my phone through built in WiFi adapter.

When your mobile phone is as hotspot, it has be a wifi router, your phone will not get a local address, this is the reason your B4A Bridge is not showing the IP address. it is the best you use a wifi switch device let them connecting together
