Android Question camera2 support

I read here

that the camera class is deprecated.
My question is whether it is planned to migrate cameraex to support the package camera2.

Camera2 will be supported at some point. Note that it is only available on Android 5+.

Hi all

is there an ETA for camera2 api support? Its truly a key feature of Android and I feel b4x is falling behind by not supporting it.

As of now over 80% of android devices are on version 5+
