Can I take a picture from a service?

Hello

I am trying to take a picture (using camera) from a widget or any service without launching an activity or without bringing it to foreground.

Is that possible or any idea for a workaround?

Camera object is an Activity object. You cannot use it from a service. You can create a transparent activity to handle the camera (search for transparent activity).
