Android Question Cancel a long / busy loop using back button

Hi masters. is there any way to cancel or exit a loop when a user pressed the back button. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Without seeing any code or any kind of indication of what processing is being carried out it's a little difficult to help you on this.

Can the processing in question be left in a background process and the main activity left to interact with the user?

You should never block the main thread in a loop. It will only cause problems.

You don't lock anything if you use DoEvents
