Android Question Cannot connect b4a to Android 12

I have a Samsung A8, all was well. It upgraded to Android 12,, then factory reset, and still android 12.

I cannot connect to b4a anymore, 'no device found'. I have developer options on and it appears in windows explorer.

But I can no longer install/debug from B4A. Some settings have changed in android 12, so instead of 'allow sideloading' you have to say what app you can sideload from. Tried chrome and file manager but no help.

I have searched and searched for an answer but to no avail.

I guess it must be a setting because even after upgrading from android 11 to 12 it still would let me run from b4a as normal. But after the factory reset I must be missing something?

USB settings tried 'Transferring files' and 'USB tethering'

Everything ok when connecting to older samsung S2.

Solved: I needed to 'allow USB debugging'

Sorry for the disturbance :-(
