a week ago i did this cutting and pasting all over the forums and docs, to build a doc to print and read, it was really a PITA!

Have you looked in the provided link? There is a small icon of a book and the link to the PDF is next to it.

Having the two links next to each other is ambiguous. I didn't bother to try to download as I thought it was a single link pointing to Klaus' German version. I think the links should be separated to make it quite clear there is an English version as well as a German one.

I thought the same, I saw

" Android programming tutorials - pdf (Deutsch edition) (120 pages)"

And wondered where's the English edition ???

I still can't find it. Spent 10 minutes looking. You don't mention a filename or a title for the doc on this page. I would love to have it on my tablet for perusing in the off hours.
