hi
I want to connect my samsung smartphone to my PC,under Vista, via a USB cable for B4A development.
I am asked to install a driver:Abstract Control Model
do you know which driver is it and where can I download it?
After that I understand I have to click
tools B4A Bridge
where I find the IP address to insert?
thanks a lot in advance
michel
Dude, you have mixed two different debugging features:
B4 Bridge is used in case your phone does not support USB DEBUGGING and there is no other way than via WiFi.
For debugging with your phone device you have to instal the Google driver and enable "USB debugging" from your phone settings. Then the B4A will be able to use your device for debugging.
You probably have to go to Samsung web site to download a driver so your Samsung device connects to your PC. Recently I had to connect a Motorola smart phone to a laptop. I had to go to Motorola web site and under downloads I chose the correct one. Once downloaded and installed, the phone connected to the PC and you do not need B4A bridge in that case. Just make sure you select the correct driver. For Motorola they had a driver for 64 bit and one for 32 bit machines. I hope this is all you have to do as I am not familiar with Samsung phone.
