Android Question ftp download and permission

why ftp download to internal folder is giving me the file with no excute permission?
i mean rwx --- ---
this wont let me execute the file if it was apk

any ideas ?

yes i tried
when downloading to DirRootExternal the file permission are right i can execute and do anything rwx rwx rwx
the problem only occurs when downloading to ftp ..
i cant use the external maybe the user dont have sdcard ...

DirRootExternal is not a "real external sd card", it is an... internal memory!

I have Sonyericsson xperia arcs , dir root external put the file to the sd card
anyway Erel said in the documentation:

DirRootExternal As String [read only]
Returns the root folder of the external storage media.

You cannot execute apks. Search the forum to see how you can install apks.
