Android Question How to detect is GPS Service Finished Successfully

I used the GPS example and managed to get the GPS program to run. But encountered sometime will not return the expected result, expecially during the GPS service is not available (GPS is on on phone). I would like to know how can I check if the GPS is finished sucessfully. Sometime GPS taking sometime to finished and not returning the expected result. how can I handle that situation?

Do you mean that the GPS returns wrong coordinates?

Erel, after the troubleshooting on my programs. I think my problem is liase on the internet connection to get the address. Not the GPS service. Cause my program will get the address from returned GPS coordination. And due to the internet connection is not able to reach the site, to get the address, then it will hit to execption error.

This problem I think is related to my previous question on how to check is URL is reacheable. thanks
