I need to reinstall B4A (using VirtualBox on Windows 7 on a Linux Mint17.3 host) and on my first attempt to compile and run one of my apps I got the following message: Can someone tell me how to fix this? The program cannot start because api-ms-win-crt-heap-I1-0.dll is missing from your computer.

Or perhaps go (semi-)native if that's an option, and install it right away on Mint under Wine? I don't think it is an issue about B4A, and the message has told you that api-ms-win-crt-heap-I1-0.dll is missing , you may google and download it from internet , copy it to directory system32, try compiling again, there may be other DLL files missing, you need to do that once more

It's probably part of the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015

new b4a installation not finding dll file

New B4A installation i(10.2) not finding api-ms-win-crt-private-I1-1-0.dll ("missing from your computer"), even though it is there four times in the Java folder (under c:\). Reinstalling does not help. Any suggestions please? It is running under Parallels on a new computer (under Catalina OS ).
