Just a curiosity, is the suite B4X made only from @Erel? Who will answer our questions and update the product when he retires?:confused::(:(
The answer is Yes but also No.
AnyWhere software from what we read on the internet is made up of about 10 people (Here). But all ten are called Erel. So B4X is developed only by Erel (all of them)

When you retire, we would already retire before id him. Except you are younger ... you will have to learn a new language, maybe C#4A

1. There are other developers who help with me with specific tasks.
2. I plan to continue develop B4X for many years.
3. Since B4A was released in 2010, Microsoft has killed the following tools / frameworks:
- Silverlight
- XNA
- RoboVM
- .Net CF
- Windows Mobile 6
- Windows Phone 7
- Windows Phone 8
- WinForms / WPF (not dead but haven't been updated for many years now).
- LightSwitch

What I'm trying to say is that the company size doesn't always matter. Large companies change their strategies.

Yes, of course. I'm just curious to know if you work with other people who can help us if you wake up tomorrow and after having dreamed of changing jobs, you decide not to support more b4x :p

he has like 4 kids and counting! (everytime you see a new b4x product, most likely he has a new kid)

so at least one of them will heir the empire.
As I know... he only knows how to make girls (no problem on that... I only know how to make boys...)

I understand the curiosity of B4X future.

In my main project development with Xbase++, I use 3rd party libraries and two of the most depended ones development stopped. One of the developer released the last library codes, the other could not. I know I will have to look for alternative in future for the last one.

In B4X we have reached such a higher stage that any abrupt stop will create many problems. We are not in a state now to learn any Java or Android suit etc. So knowing that B4X future is secure does gives peaceful sleeps to us. :)

Regards,

Anand

I am sure that before Erel leaves this job or this land, grant the B4A source code for free to the developer community.

Someone will continue his work, maybe LucaMs and then we will criticize him continuously :p:p:p:p:p

Some day I would like to know, if possible, the names of the rest of the b4x team who also support the community to say thanks to all of them.
After all, they play an important role in the community ;)
