You should first register: http://market.android.com/publish and then you can upload and update applications.

Note that you will need to sign your application with your own "key". This feature will be available in version 1.0.

This would really be useful, especially when it comes to piracy.. if someone is to get our app via illegal manner, maybe the adverts part will still help with some sort of revenue?

Of course, if the app is hacked and the adverts removed.. thats another story...

The AdMob library is in the feature list. It will not be available in the first release. Probably later.
