Android Question MQTT Message Arrived

Hello,
I am able to run the MQTT service from Starter Service module.
But when I kill/closed the application manually I am able to receive MQTT msgs, but I want to open one bottom tray when the msg arrived at mqtt while the application is at closed state.

My question is
1. How long MQTT service will run if I place the code at starter service.

2. Can this be possible to open a bottom tray upon mqtt msg received while the application is at closed/killed state.

Please note that I am using B4Xpages for the above details.

Please advice on this.

See the B4J code that sends the requests. You can take it as-is and use it from B4A or B4i. There are some security implications as you will need to save your API key in the APK.
