Packaging files times out

Hi,

I have just installed Basic4android and am trying to run the hello world program. When I press run, the dialog box comes up and it gets to "Packaging files" and then times out without explanation. Can someone help with this?

Does it times out immediately, or after awhile?

After a while, about 15 secs. after it starts packaging files.

This is strange. Packaging should be very quick. Have you copied any large files to the Files folder?

You can set the timeout value under Tools > IDE Options.

I am having the same issue, have tried both an emulator and B4A-Brige on my Motorola Bionic via Bluetooth

Check the contents of the Files folder and make sure that there isn't any huge file there.

As I wrote above you can increase the timeout value.

Turns out I had place my project in the root, when I moved it to a folder, the issues disappeared.
