Other Regions inside of routines

Maybe I'm wrong ("for the very first time", like Madonna and now like suor Cristina )
but now, with b4a 4.0, I can add Regions inside of routines and I did not have this possibility using b4a 3.0.

I am sure (almost ) I have tried, a year ago , with version 3.00
and I received a message informing me that the regions could not be used inside a subroutine!

(Do you think I can recover the 3.00 and install it without "risks"?)
