nfordbscndrd Well-Known Member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 5, 2012 #3 Since he says "bigger screen, not density", I think that what he may be getting at is that the same font size on a 10" tablet that is 1280x800x1 looks much smaller than on a 7" tablet that is 800x480x1. Android doesn't scale up the font size because both tablets have the same scale, even though the dimensions are different. The Wiki has screen shots which show this effect. Upvote 0

Yes, exactly, i think 1) most users need the bigger screen - the bigger (well visible) text. 2) at smaller resolution layouts the texts must suit the smaller view dimensions. How to adjust font sizes for various layouts for it ? Upvote 0

Erel B4X founder Staff member Licensed User Longtime User Mar 6, 2012 #5 If you like you can use something like: Code: EditText1.TextSize = ScaleTextSize(14) Sub ScaleTextSize(Size As Float) Return Size / 480 * 100%y / 1dip End Sub Upvote 0
