Since he says "bigger screen, not density", I think that what he may be getting at is that the same font size on a 10" tablet that is 1280x800x1 looks much smaller than on a 7" tablet that is 800x480x1. Android doesn't scale up the font size because both tablets have the same scale, even though the dimensions are different.

Yes, exactly, i think
1) most users need the bigger screen - the bigger (well visible) text.
2) at smaller resolution layouts the texts must suit the smaller view dimensions.
How to adjust font sizes for various layouts for it ?

But, seems, all the questions due to the designer (or Android layouts natively?) cannot store separated font size digits for any view of each layout.
