Can someone explain why Service is used in B4A . I think we can use an activity instead of any Service. So what is the advantage of Service?

Among other things:

Code written in an activity module is paused once the activity is not visible.

Don't waste your time with activities and services. Create a new B4XPages project. Everything will be simpler.
