We just had downtime on the site, for at least an hour. Just curious, do we know why it happened?

I'm afraid no. The automatic monitor restarted several services but it didn't help. I've restarted the server after consulting with the support team and it started working. Might be an automatic update that got stuck.

it was 12 am yesterday in my time, i was replying to messages and then the website stopped working it felt so weird, like something is missing.
i want to bed, and every 5 minutes i wake up and check the website then i sent erel an email and kept on refreshing the browser for about an 1 hour or so.
first thing i did this morning is checking the B4X website before even washing my face ?

i guess we are all addicted to B4X ??

I imagine that the tests for the hosted builders are somewhat naïve? It's mostly a case of whether the machine responds? Not that it actually manages to build?

True, but it will still catch some of the possible failures.

In the server management world there will never be 100% known causes, there will always be something that could bring either the connection down or the whole server down.
even facebook/ youtube / google / etc... has their down times, but they fix it buy creating backup servers to keep the connection on
