Hey B4X power users!

I have an underwater drone that needs a *live* camera to replace its GoPro (which only gives a video file after it surfaces).

I was thinking about a cheap $10 Walmart Android phone, which fits in the same camera-mounting area as the GoPro it would be replacing.

So...

Can I get a *wired* live video feed from the submerged camera to a laptop (or better yet, to my decent Android phone Galaxy S4) on the surface? Can B4A send a video signal along a USB cable, for instance?

Of course, I realize that there could be USB distance limitations. Are there USB repeaters that could extend the cable length effectively??

I hope that this thread is at least entertaining and original! Give it your best shot.

Your s4 has hdmi output - if you dare to sink it ;)
Sure. I'm willing to put the S4 into the submarine drone, but will HDMI from the submerged S4 help me above-water go in to an Android phone running a B4A app? I need to be able to see the video live and record it on a phone above water.
