Android Question Upgraded App from API 14 to AP I26, getting errors

We recently upgraded from a targeted API of 14 to API 26.
This error is being thrown/created when we launch the App

Have searched the forums with little luck.
Have implemented permissions...

rp.CheckAndRequest(rp.PERMISSION_READ_PHONE_STATE)
Wait For activity_result(Premission As String, Result As Boolean)

If Result Then
phonenumberNoDelimeters = CleanPhoneNumber(pid.GetLine1Number)

Should be wait for activity_permissionresult(...)
