Android Question whats on the menu

sub activity_Create

Activity.AddMenuItem("Open catagory", "openCat")

End Sub
Sub openCat

    Log("In openCat") 'No output

    menuPanel.Visible = True  ' panel does not appear
   
End Sub

Is there anything that would prevent the Sub openCat event from firing? I thought that if i click on the three spots icon, and select "Open Catagory" that the openCat sub would fire. What am I missing?

No. You can create your own button and add it to the action bar.
